About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Product Manager – Renewable Energy Systems (RES) to own product strategy, roadmap and lifecycle for RES products, working closely with engineering, sales, operations and aftersales to deliver market-leading, zero-emission solutions. This role requires strong product management experience in energy, battery storage, charging infrastructure or related clean-technology sectors, and the ability to operate across commercial and technical domains.
Responsibilities
- Define product vision, strategy and roadmap for RES products aligned with company goals and market requirements.
- Gather and prioritise product and customer requirements through market research, customer engagement and stakeholder collaboration.
- Lead cross-functional product development activities with engineering, manufacturing, procurement and quality teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with Sales and Business Development to support tender responses, commercial proposals and customer presentations for utility, commercial and public-sector projects.
- Develop business cases, pricing models and total-cost-of-ownership analyses to support product launches and commercial decisions.
- Define product specifications, acceptance criteria and release documentation; support testing and commissioning activities as required.
- Work with Aftersales and Warranty teams to establish service offerings, spare-parts strategies and warranty policies for RES products.
- Monitor product performance, customer feedback and market trends; drive continuous improvement and feature enhancements.
- Maintain product documentation and a centralised library of technical and commercial materials for internal use and audits.
- Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings and technical workshops; build strong relationships with key partners and suppliers.
- Undertake other tasks as requested by the Head of Product or regional management.
Requirements
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and work with technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Experience preparing tender submissions, commercial proposals and technical specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German language skills highly desirable.
- Proficient in MS Office and common product management tools; comfortable using data to drive decisions.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Proactive, collaborative and customer-focused with the ability to work independently.
- Right to work in Germany.
