About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to work alongside senior brokers on large complex accounts and manage your own portfolio of clients. In this role, you will be a key point of contact for your clients, designing tailored risk solutions and negotiating effectively within the market.
Responsibilities
- Assisting senior brokers on handling and managing complex financial lines placements
- Ownership of a client portfolio (renewals & support)
- Assess risk and design tailored insurance solutions
- Negotiate with insurers to achieve optimal outcomes
- Build strong partnerships with underwriters
- Support new business growth through pipeline development
Requirements
- Strong account management with attention to detail
- Clear, professional, and confident with stakeholders
- Practical & service-first approach to getting deals done
- Proactive, helpful, and driven to hit team goals
- Previous experience in a similar insurance broking or underwriting role is highly regarded
Skills
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification (preferred)
Experience Level
- 2-4 years’ broking or underwriting experience
