About the Role
The Services team is responsible for patient engagement, retention, and weight loss outcomes. This Strategy & Operations Associate role, on a 1-year fixed-term contract, will focus on operational and strategic challenges within the Services function, translating strategy into execution and reporting to the Head of Services. The role involves designing and improving systems, processes, and ways of working to deliver a great coaching experience at scale, working closely with Health Coaching Team Leads and cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own a mix of projects and ongoing operational work to improve patient outcomes and drive business value.
- Be accountable for moving core team metrics like engagement, retention, quality of support, and safe practicing.
- Drive operational excellence in coaching delivery at scale.
- Design and optimize systems and processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Contribute to capacity planning, coverage, and resource allocation.
- Identify and resolve inefficiencies in processes, tooling, or workflows.
- Translate patient and commercial problems into hypotheses, metrics, and execution plans.
- Use data and operational insights to inform future service design and scaling.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives end-to-end.
- Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, translating strategic priorities into execution plans.
- Collaborate with product, clinical, and operations teams to improve coaching integration.
- Own projects end-to-end, defining tasks, tracking progress, removing blockers, and ensuring quality.
- Be a strategic thought partner to Services leadership.
- Track and improve key performance metrics (engagement, retention, quality, safety).
- Use data to inform prioritization and team structure/resourcing decisions.
- Provide practical insights from team context into planning cycles.
Requirements
- 3+ years in operations, strategy, or a similar generalist role, ideally at a fast-growing company.
- Proficient in Google Sheets and able to draw practical conclusions from data.
- Hands-on operational experience, including process improvement, system management, and project completion.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable working with senior stakeholders and translating goals into plans.
- Creative, positive problem-solver with initiative and flexibility.
- Strong collaborator focused on getting things done.
- Commercially aware, understanding business revenue and connecting work to business impact.
