About the Role

In this role, you will support the successful handover of new energy facilities to operations, contributing significantly to Berlin's energy transition. You will ensure that new facilities are not only built but also operated safely, reliably, and efficiently from day one. By developing standards, processes, and control instruments, you will create the conditions for a successful transition from project to operational business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop standards, tools, and work materials for the successful transfer of new energy facilities into operation.
  • Create transparency regarding the operational readiness status of new construction projects and further develop central control instruments.
  • Coordinate project-accompanying reviews and support informed decisions at key project milestones.
  • Support project teams in preparing new facilities for later operation and promote collaboration with specialist departments.
  • Prepare risks and action requirements for project committees and management, and support their follow-up.
  • Continuously develop processes related to operational readiness and facility handover, and implement optimization ideas.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience in project management, PMO, project control, or the implementation of technical projects, ideally in the context of energy, infrastructure, or industrial facilities.
  • Strong ability to structure complex topics, set priorities, and present content in an audience-appropriate manner.
  • Enjoyment of collaboration with various specialist departments and the ability to create transparency regarding relevant project information.
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work style, as well as convincing and reliable communication.
  • Fluent German language skills at least at C1 level, both written and spoken.
