About the Role

Become a functional expert across the Investments, Savings, and Payments domains within the Ohpen Platform. You'll bridge the gap between business and technology, ensuring our platform delivers the right solutions for our clients while helping shape the future of our products. This is an opportunity to build deep expertise in modern banking technology while working with leading financial institutions across the Netherlands and internationally.

Responsibilities

Become the functional expert for the Savings & Investments domain within the Ohpen Platform
Gather, analyze, and define functional requirements for new features and enhancements
Work closely with Software Engineers to ensure solutions are functionally correct and deliver the intended business value
Support the implementation and onboarding of new domestic and international clients
Advise clients on new functionality, product changes, and platform capabilities
Demonstrate new features and participate in client discussions
Contribute to roadmap planning and feature prioritization together with Product Owners
Test newly developed functionality and validate releases
Create and maintain functional documentation
Identify opportunities to transform bespoke client requests into scalable platform capabilities

Requirements

Minimum of 3-4 years' experience within banking or financial services, ideally with exposure to savings, investments, payments, or banking platforms
Experience translating business needs into functional requirements
Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented, with the ability to understand complex functional processes and their impact on clients
Enjoy working with both business and technical stakeholders and can communicate effectively with clients as well as software engineers
Curious by nature and motivated to become a functional expert within your domain while continuously expanding your knowledge of modern banking technology
Comfortable working with technical concepts such as APIs, database queries, and software development processes, or eager to develop these skills
Take ownership of your work, have a service-oriented mindset, and always keep the customer impact in mind when making decisions
