About the Role
Wüest Partner aims to more closely integrate the real estate and infrastructure sectors under the Real Assets umbrella and continuously expand expertise in valuation. As an intern, you will support our team in the valuation and appraisal of real estate, renewable energies, and infrastructure assets, gaining exciting insights into the valuation of Real Assets. You will work on diverse projects and become familiar with various infrastructure segments. This position allows you to gain valuable practical experience in real estate and infrastructure valuation, collaborate with a broad network of experts, and benefit from modern IT tools and extensive market and databases.
Responsibilities
- Support in the analysis, preparation, and processing of real estate and infrastructure data.
- Collaboration on market, location, and valuation analyses in the areas of real estate, renewable energies, and infrastructure.
- Maintenance and further development of internal valuation databases and support in optimizing valuation tools.
- Participation in real estate and asset valuations in the renewable energies sector according to current valuation standards.
- Support in building the "Infrastructure, Energy & Clean Tech" business unit and insights into new areas such as social and digital infrastructure.
- Involvement in customer projects, acquisition activities, and events.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree (at least 3rd semester) in Economics, Architecture, (Business) Geography, or related disciplines.
- Knowledge in the application of statistical methods, experience in the real estate industry/valuation, or market research are advantageous.
- Interest in real estate, renewable energies, and infrastructure topics with a desire to gain practical experience in Real Assets valuation.
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with a structured and independent work style.
- Flexibility in handling diverse tasks and the ability to efficiently work remotely across locations (e.g., via MS Teams) in Germany or Switzerland.
- Proficient in MS Office; basic programming skills are a plus.
- Fluent German (written and spoken) and good English; other languages are beneficial.
