About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious, compassionate, and driven Deputy Care Manager to help lead an outstanding home care service and make a genuine difference every day.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and inspire our team of 60 Care Professionals and Supervisors
  • Conduct care consultations, complete care plans, and risk assessments
  • Carry out quality assurance visits, spot checks, and annual appraisals
  • Ensure rigorous CQC compliance, audits, and governance
  • Maintain audit-compliant care records, medication documentation, and visit logs
  • Support safeguarding, investigations, and continuous quality improvement
  • Work closely with scheduling, recruitment, and training to deliver outstanding client care
  • Participate in the on-call rota and provide occasional ad hoc care support

Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience in adult social care, ideally domiciliary care
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC standards and best practice
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using digital and AI-based systems
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Live within a 60-minute drive of our Wandsworth office
  • Lead by example, communicate brilliantly, take pride in high standards, and share our passion for helping older people live well at home
