About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft 365 Technical Architect to join our expanding Consultancy Practice. This role involves working at the highest level of enterprise transformation, shaping strategy, influencing customer outcomes, and advising on complex UK environments. You will work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and delivery teams to design enterprise-scale Microsoft solutions, influence technical direction, mentor colleagues, and contribute to business growth.

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders, including CIO-level audiences.
Define technical strategy for major enterprise accounts.
Lead presales engagements, including discovery workshops, qualification, and solution shaping.
Support proposition development, pipeline growth, and revenue generation.
Design enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 and hybrid solutions aligned to customer requirements.
Lead large-scale and complex consultancy assignments.
Provide technical leadership across bid teams and virtual delivery teams.
Review and assure the quality of technical deliverables.
Build strong relationships across internal and customer stakeholder groups.
Stay current with emerging Microsoft technologies, market trends, and industry best practices.
Support practice development initiatives and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

Expertise in Entra ID, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Copilot, and Microsoft security technologies (Defender, Sentinel, XDR, PIM, Cloud Apps).
Strong experience designing and supporting hybrid on-premises environments including Active Directory, Exchange, and SharePoint.
Proven experience delivering M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations using tools such as Quest, AvePoint, and ShareGate.
Ability to design complex multi-technology enterprise solutions.
Strong presales and consultancy experience within large-scale customer environments.
Experience leading technical bid teams and virtual project teams.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Relevant certifications, accreditations, or equivalent enterprise-level experience.
