About the Role

This role is an opportunity to join the JET Honey Badgers team, focusing on enhancing JET's marketing and communications capabilities. You will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, leveraging .NET engineering skills to drive backend development and delivery of key technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Consistently produce high-quality software that meets team expectations and best practices.
• Support changes through to production.
• Implement new features to established code-quality standards.
• Actively raise quality across the wider team through pairing, peer reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to the definition of product features in workshops with various teams.
• Share new development practices, patterns, and standards with the team.
• Track progress toward team goals and communicate transparently.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Practical experience with AWS or a comparable cloud platform (Azure, GCP).
• Experience with basic cloud architecture patterns and Kubernetes.
• Strong software-engineering foundation (data structures, design patterns, OO design, code optimisation) applied to microservices and event-driven distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of HTTP and RESTful design.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, CosmosDB).
• Solid foundation in software engineering principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical initiatives.
