About the Role

RISER ID Services GmbH is seeking a full-time or part-time Accountant to join their team in Berlin Friedrichshain. This role involves managing accounts receivable and payable, processing invoices, and ensuring timely financial reporting. The company offers a hybrid work model with up to 60% remote work flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and payable independently.
• Create, review, and book incoming and outgoing invoices and related master data.
• Monitor incoming payments, dunning processes, and open items, and resolve discrepancies.
• Serve as the point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal departments on all accounting matters.
• Handle special cases such as insolvency proceedings, balance confirmations, and special billing processes.
• Support the billing of our registration information services and ensure the quality of booking and interface processes.
• Work with SAP and contribute to reliable, on-time financial accounting.

Requirements

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally with a focus on accounting.
• Several years of experience in accounts receivable and/or accounts payable.
• Very good knowledge of SAP (FI) and proficient use of Excel.
• Structured, careful, and independent work style.
• High affinity for numbers and understanding of complex billing processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with automated interfaces and mass data is an advantage.
