About the Role
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will influence growth and investment decisions by analyzing drivers of customer profitability and long-term value. You will partner with Marketing, Product, Pricing, and Risk teams to design experiments, build measurement frameworks, and apply causal analysis to guide business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze A/B tests, holdouts, and geo experiments to evaluate initiatives and establish causality.
- Build measurement approaches for marketing, product, pricing, and risk initiatives including incrementality, ROAS, CAC, retention, and lifetime value.
- Apply statistical and causal inference techniques such as regression, seasonality adjustment, and interrupted time series to determine business impact.
- Analyze customer behavior to identify growth opportunities and root causes of performance trends.
- Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
- Partner cross-functionally to raise analytical, measurement, and experimentation standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 4–6 years of experience in Data Science, Product Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or Growth Analytics.
- Advanced SQL and Python or R skills.
- Strong foundation in statistics, experimentation, and causal inference methodologies.
- Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests, controlled experiments, and holdouts.
- Experience measuring incrementality and evaluating business initiatives.
- Strong understanding of growth and performance metrics including ROAS, CAC, conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into business recommendations.
- Preferred: Experience in fintech, financial services, or digital businesses.
- Preferred: Experience with Snowflake, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Preferred: Exposure to attribution modeling, marketing mix modeling, Bayesian methods, or advanced experimentation.
