About the Role
Support the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and fault-finding across mechanical and electrical systems within a high-profile critical environment. Gain exposure to critical infrastructure including HVAC, UPS systems, generators, LV systems, and BMS operation.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across M&E systems
- Support fault finding and repairs on electrical and mechanical plant
- Monitor building systems and environmental conditions via BMS
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures
- Support contractor management and supervise specialist subcontractors on site
- Complete maintenance documentation and update CAFM systems accurately
- Ensure compliance with Permit to Work, LOTO and Health & Safety procedures
- Maintain plant rooms and engineering areas to a high standard
- Support continuous improvement and personal development towards becoming a fully experienced technician
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Previous experience within building services or completion of a structured apprenticeship
- Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
- Able to work within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
