About the Role
Join our team and grow with us! This Management Trainee Program is your entry into a career with perspective at the Motel One Group. You will rotate between 3 hotels (national & international) over 12-18 months, learning all operational departments and undertaking additional projects with experienced mentors to develop your potential and expertise.
Responsibilities
- Complete training-on-the-job in all operational hotel departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, Service).
- Actively participate in daily operations, identify optimization potential, and shape the guest experience.
- Learn leadership tasks, support team coordination and motivation, and manage own projects as a leader.
- Benefit from mentoring, a personal development plan, and regular feedback sessions.
- Attend internal training and workshops at the Motel One Campus to build your network and prepare for a leadership position.
Requirements
- Completed studies in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a comparable degree from a tourism school.
- Minimum 1 year of operational experience in various hotel departments; initial leadership experience is advantageous.
- Flexibility regarding location and willingness to travel.
- Desire to take responsibility, be a role model, motivate your team, and make bold decisions.
- Passion for hospitality and ambition to become a Hotel Manager.
- High social competence, open and communicative nature, and positive attitude.
- Fluent in both German and English.
- Analytical thinking, high quality awareness, and strong service orientation.
- Structured, independent, and team-oriented work approach.
