About the Role

As a Software & AI Solutions Specialist, you will contribute to ensuring our global NGO colleagues have access to the best software and AI solutions, enabling efficient and secure usage. You will help select and manage our diverse international software landscape, keeping IT security and compliance in mind. This role is part of a ten-person IT team, working closely with two other Software Specialists. The focus is on managing existing standard software, typically cloud solutions, rather than software development, though basic software development knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Monitor the market and technology trends in software and AI, assessing their applicability for ProVeg.
Facilitate knowledge transfer regarding software and AI applications, developing online courses, workshops, and wiki pages.
Empower teams to optimally utilize software and AI features for their specific use cases and advise leadership on opportunities and risks.
Maintain an overview of ProVeg's software and AI solutions and key international team projects.
Set up central software solutions and provide user support.
Implement process automations using No-Code/Low-Code platforms.
Select and implement suitable AI and software solutions, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
Contribute to shaping the software and AI strategy, roadmap, and policies.
Collaborate with internal data protection coordination to minimize risks and ensure IT security and data privacy compliance.

Requirements

Completed university degree (e.g., Master's in Computer Science, Information Management, Digital Media) or comparable qualification with at least four years of professional experience.
Affinity for software and ability to quickly learn new solutions.
Good understanding of artificial intelligence and experience with various AI applications.
Proficient written and spoken English communication skills.
Structured and pragmatic work approach.
Eagerness to learn and continuously improve processes.
