About the Role

As Senior Operational Risk Manager at CMC Markets, you'll be the architect of resilience, building frameworks that protect both the business and its clients whilst enabling sustainable growth. This isn't a tick-box compliance role. You'll work directly with the Head of Compliance and Operational Risk, influencing senior leadership decisions and presenting to board committees whilst having one direct report. Your insights will drive real change across departments, and you'll see the tangible impact of your work daily. With a direct report to develop and mentor, you'll also grow your leadership capabilities in an environment that values your professional growth. The role offers exposure to both retail and institutional operations, and the opportunity to shape operational risk practices across the ANZ region. You'll be working on meaningful projects that enhance how we protect our clients and our business.

  • Work with internal and external auditors to ensure recommendations are tracked and implemented thoughtfully.
  • As BCM Coordinator, work with senior management and the BCM Committee to maintain governance across all business lines.
  • Develop and maintain the BCM framework, including policies, procedures, continuity plans, and business impact assessments.

  • Deliver training to ensure everyone understands their role in maintaining continuity.
