Responsibilities
- Co-develop AI agents to solve specific engineering and enterprise challenges.
- Further develop and concretize governance processes for multi-agent systems, including agent definitions, role descriptions, guardrails, and reusable skills.
- Structure and optimize agent workflows to increase quality, traceability, and efficiency.
- Integrate quality assurance mechanisms (e.g., security, code quality, or plausibility analyses) into agent processes.
- Evaluate, benchmark, and validate AI models, agents, and workflow variants experimentally using defined criteria with a focus on the best possible results with minimal use of resources.
- Contribute own ideas for improving approaches and methods and evaluate them systematically.
- Translate research findings into functioning proofs of concept.
- Document methods, interfaces, results, and findings for knowledge transfer in the team.
Requirements
- Demonstrably good German and English skills.
- Complete application documents (cover letter, CV, transcript of records, certificate of enrolment and, if applicable, residence permit/work permit) must be available.
- Studying computer science, mathematics, physics, industrial engineering, data science, or a comparable course of study.
- Basic understanding of AI, machine learning, and large language models with a practical, applied focus.
- Initial practical experience in GenAI and/or Agentic AI.
- Programming skills in Python.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Ability to analyze complex problems in a structured way and translate them into efficient solutions.
- Work independently, show initiative, and enjoy development tasks.
- Act in a structured, transparent, and reliable manner.
- Good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
