About the Role

RELEX is expanding its APAC team and seeking a Business Consultant in Tokyo, Japan. This role involves managing full-lifecycle software implementation projects for retail supply chains, focusing on process design, solution configuration, training, and business value realization. You will collaborate with a global team and work with prominent Japanese retailers and wholesalers, driving improvements in planning processes and making a significant impact. The ideal candidate is autonomous, analytical, customer-oriented, and motivated to contribute to the company's growth.

Responsibilities

Lead software implementation projects and optimize customer supply chain and retail planning processes.
Drive and participate in process development workshops in English and Japanese.
Create Business Specification Design Documents, User Stories, process maps, and UI workflow designs.
Analyze KPIs and customer data to inform decisions and improvements.
Configure RELEX solutions according to customer-specific requirements.
Deliver training to customer teams and provide ongoing support.
Track and ensure achievement of business case KPIs.
Manage change and solution adoption with customer stakeholders.
Support pre-sales activities including scoping, value assessments, and ROI case creation.
Act as a trusted advisor, aligning RELEX best practices with client objectives.
Develop internal knowledge through continuous learning and training.
Participate in industry events or internal strategic initiatives as needed.
Onboard RELEX partner companies for successful project delivery.

Requirements

Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese.
3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, retail operations, or business consulting.
Experience in retail or wholesale demand planning, forecasting, replenishment, or supply chain operations (e.g., grocery, DIY, pharmacy, FMCG).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage projects independently and interact confidently with customer stakeholders.
Familiarity with value generation in supply chain.
Experience conducting workshops, delivering training, and writing customer-facing documentation.
