About the Role

AvePoint Australia is seeking a Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, specifically Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), ensuring successful outcomes within scope, timelines, budget, and quality. This role involves managing stakeholder relationships, project schedules, and risks, while collaborating with internal and global teams. The position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects within a rapidly growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects (SaaS/PaaS) from initiation to closure.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, expectations, and communications.
  • Build and manage project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resourcing.
  • Apply project management methodologies, governance, and controls.
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, and changes.
  • Collaborate with internal delivery, sales, and global teams.
  • Facilitate project kick-offs, status meetings, and stakeholder forums.
  • Manage the delivery of internal AvePoint projects.
  • Build a strong understanding of AvePoint solutions and articulate their business value.
  • Travel occasionally within Australia and to New Zealand.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering projects in the SaaS industry.
  • Strong client-facing experience with proven stakeholder management capability.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Experience working across multiple teams and time zones.
  • At least two recognised project management certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, AgilePM, or equivalent).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accountability, urgency, and a proactive engagement style.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a forward-thinking mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
