About the Role

We are seeking a Project Lead for major Data Centre construction projects in Berlin. This role involves acting as the key client interface, ensuring client objectives are met and exceeded, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality, sustainability, and safety. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, driving performance through all project phases from design to construction.

Responsibilities

Oversee, manage, and lead a team providing Project Management services.
Manage Project Controls.
Oversee Preconstruction Activities.
Manage Environmental, Health & Safety Activities.
Manage Construction Management.
Manage Quality Management.
Manage Commercial Management.
Manage Claims Management.
Manage Procurement.
Provide Project Execution Support.
Manage Project Close-out.

Requirements

University degree in a construction-related field.
Extensive experience delivering major projects and/or programmes.
At least 5 years of experience in the Data Centre Sector.
Experience as a Project Director, Construction Director within a PMC, EPCM, Construction Management Environment, or as a General Contractor.
Understanding of project management and project controls methodology.
Proactive, meticulous, self-motivated, and hands-on team player.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and senior management.
Fluent language skills in German and English are required.
Willingness to work on site a minimum of 3 days a week.
