About the Role

As an Organizational Manager in our social start-up, you will be the primary point of contact for the entire team's inquiries. You will support with well-thought-out processes, suitable tools, and individual advice. You will look beyond the obvious, identify needs early, and find pragmatic solutions before small friction points become major hurdles. You will creatively shape and develop processes, ensuring they are implemented in daily operations and yield results. You will make well-considered decisions and take responsibility, with the full backing of management.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for team inquiries.
  • Support the team with well-thought-out processes, suitable tools, and individual advice.
  • Identify needs early and find pragmatic solutions.
  • Creatively shape and develop processes.
  • Ensure processes are implemented and effective in daily operations.
  • Make well-considered decisions and take responsibility.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of practical experience in the overhead of a non-profit organization, ideally with experience in accounting and/or personnel.
  • Experience in drafting employment contracts, creating invoices, and/or preparing annual financial statements.
  • A knack for the business management aspects of a social enterprise.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex situations, structure them, and translate them into clear, actionable steps.
  • Enjoy supporting teams and communicate confidently, empathetically, and clearly.
  • Enthusiasm for accompanying non-profit organizations through challenging development phases.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic social start-up environment.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain an overview where others see only chaos.
  • Act with groundedness, constructiveness, and a strong focus on goals.
  • Inspire others with an open personality.
  • Willingness to take responsibility, communicate openly, and develop things collaboratively.
  • Desire to contribute to a strong team culture and be part of a social start-up.
