About the Role

As an Airport Catering Driver, you will contribute to passenger satisfaction by ensuring timely and comfortable air travel. You will be a key part of the catering team, supporting daily operations and creating a positive flying experience. This role reports to the Hub Manager, Toronto YTZ, with daily oversight from the Supervisor, Catering.

Responsibilities

• Physically provide all flights with perishable and non-perishable commissary product.
• Liaise with operating flight crew to ensure all flight provisioning requirements are met.
• Communicate effectively with catering personnel.
• Assist catering personnel with warehousing and deliveries when required.
• Operate a forklift when required.
• Assist catering personnel with loading and unloading of the catering vehicle.
• Manage the supply level on the catering vehicles.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Manage the garbage and recycling from the aircraft and catering facility daily.
• Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS), including reporting hazards and incidents.
• Understand, comply with, and promote the Company Safety Policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid G2 Class driver's license (or out of province equivalent) with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Must be able to obtain a Restricted Area Security Pass.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills are required.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 70lbs.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and squat.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
