About the Role

PayPay Securities is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to join a new organization within the company. This role involves collaborating with engineers, designers, and QAs to build and scale asset management services, targeting individuals new to or uninterested in asset management. The opportunity offers involvement in strategic business planning, pioneering mobile securities services, and leveraging the PayPay user base.

Responsibilities

Analyze testing requirements to develop testing scenarios based on testing methodology.
Design testing scenarios and test cases to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met.
Execute tasks for producing test cases, test scripts, and test data.
Analyze testing results and recommend solutions.
Support knowledge management and collaboration through testing discussions and improving collateral.
Perform assigned test-related work.
Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance test design, script generation, debugging, documentation, and productivity.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in executing and maintaining automated test cases for mobile apps, web apps, or APIs.
Proven professional experience with either Appium (for mobile) or Rest Assured (for APIs).
Experience with TestNG or JUnit.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills.
Business level in either English or Japanese (Native Japanese speaker or JLPT N1 equivalent).
Comfortable using AI-powered engineering tools for software testing and development efficiency, including generating/optimizing automation scripts, creating BDD scenarios, debugging failures, test data generation, code review, and documentation.
