Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, assisting with account queries.
- Provide guidance on products, systems, and processes.
- Handle frontline customer support, email inquiries, operational processing, and quality-related tasks.
- Manage a mix of straightforward, educational, and complex customer inquiries.
- Support customers during significant moments in their retirement journey.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Take ownership of issues and drive them to resolution.
- Balance competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicate clearly, calmly, and professionally, even under pressure.
- Actively listen and tailor communication approaches to individual customers.
- Stay updated on evolving products, systems, and processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve the customer and team experience.
Requirements
- Adaptable, customer-focused, and able to communicate clearly with a diverse range of people.
- Previous customer service experience (phone, written, or face-to-face).
- Comfortable working in a structured call centre environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Confidence working across multiple systems and following procedures.
- A desire to find the right solution for the customer and the business.
