About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role owns core financial reporting and compliance, while also partnering with the business to provide insights that influence decisions. The Financial Accountant will be close to the action, supporting retail performance and helping shape how dusk grows.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, ensuring compliance with ASX and accounting standards
- Manage month-end and year-end processes, including consolidations and technical accounting areas
- Own the audit process, acting as the key point of contact
- Drive budgeting and forecasting, with clear analysis of performance vs plan
- Prepare reports and insights for senior leaders, Board and Audit & Risk Committee
- Support retail operations, particularly around inventory, pricing and promotions
- Provide technical accounting guidance and improve processes where needed
Requirements
- CA/CPA qualified
- 4–7 years’ experience across accounting/audit (Big 4 or mid-tier highly regarded)
- Strong grounding in IFRS and financial reporting
- Comfortable operating in a listed or complex environment (or ready to step into one)
- Commercially curious—you don’t just report numbers, you interpret them
- Able to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail
- Retail experience is a bonus, but not essential
