The Arch Company is seeking a Senior Commercial Counsel to join its collaborative legal team. This role involves supporting commercial decision-making, technology projects, and business transformation while working directly with senior stakeholders on complex contracts, data privacy, AI governance, and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial, technology, marketing, and HR agreements
- Support transformation and digital projects across the business
- Advise on privacy and AI governance
- Optimize legal operations through automation, AI, and legal playbooks
- Act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders on commercial risk and strategic initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement and embed best-in-class legal processes
Requirements
- UK qualified Solicitor
- Strong commercial contracts experience, ideally including technology agreements and marketing
- Confident advising stakeholders in a fast-paced commercial environment
- Solid understanding of UK GDPR and data protection
- Commercial, pragmatic, and solutions-focused mindset
- Interest in technology, innovation, and the role of AI in legal practice
