About the Role

DOZR is seeking a Finance Coordinator to support the day-to-day financial operations of their construction equipment rental marketplace. This role ensures accurate and timely movement of money by managing customer billing, payment collection, supplier payments, and maintaining clean financial records.

Responsibilities

• Own customer billing end-to-end, including generating invoices, issuing credits, and resolving disputes.
• Manage accounts receivable by monitoring aging, pursuing payments, and coordinating with the sales team.
• Prepare bank payment runs and supplier payouts, process vendor bills, and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
• Manage the monthly sales team commissions process, including calculation, validation, and timely submission.
• Support month-end close by coding transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with journal entries.
• Assist with insurance claims by gathering documentation, filing claims, and tracking recovery.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline repetitive financial tasks.

Requirements

• A foundation in bookkeeping, billing, or AR/AP.
• Meticulous attention to detail to catch discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Comfortable making phone calls for collections.
• Desire to automate repetitive tasks and focus on higher-value work.
• Ability to pick up the phone and be friendly and firm in the same conversation.
• Willingness to embrace technology, modern tooling, and AI.
• Excellent analytical skills and a passion for quantitative rigor.
• Ability to query databases and slice data to find insights and hypotheses.
