About the Role
Marc Jacobs International seeks a Temporary Sample Coordinator to join the Merchandising team at its New York City headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Manage post-market samples for various product lines including Mainline, Heaven, Outlet, Beauty, Little Marc, and Eyewear.
- Maintain a database of samples, tracking product corrections, location, return status, and future needs.
- Follow up with cross-functional teams on sample return status and condition.
- Collaborate with Product Merchants, Creative Services, Marketing, PR, Commercial, PD, and Design teams.
- Organize and maintain sample closets.
- Provide seasonal market support, including showroom organization, sample packing for photography, and shipment organization.
- Ensure data integrity in all systems, including PLM, JOOR, and AX.
Requirements
- Entry Level position.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and navigating such environments.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to take initiative, ownership, and accountability for projects.
- Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT, PLM & ERP Systems.
