About the Role
Turner & Townsend is seeking a technically strong Project Manager to join our team in Sydney. This role is ideal for someone early to mid-career with 3–10 years of experience who has delivered complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects within the Real Estate sector. Responsibilities
- Support and lead the delivery of technical building services projects, with a strong emphasis on electrical and controls systems.
- Manage the design and delivery of MEP projects in live, operational environments.
- Develop and grow Turner & Townsend’s technical services offering across client portfolios and internal teams.
- Plan and oversee works with a focus on safety, quality, and performance outcomes.
- Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client through regular meetings and written communications, including the production of formal project progress and other reports.
- Establish and manage project governance, reporting, and change control processes.
- Interface with clients, consultants, and contractors across all project stages.
- Support procurement activities and tender evaluations.
- Contribute to internal processes, financial management, and quality assurance.
Requirements
- 3 –10 years of experience in building/technical services (from PM to SPM).
- Background in design consultancy or MEP services delivery contracting.
- Strong technical capability and deep understanding of building systems.
- Proven experience managing projects in live, operational environments.
- Demonstrated experience in risk identification and management/mitigation for construction programs and mission critical systems.
- Experience in a client-facing role is ideal.
