About the Role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a technically strong Project Manager to join our team in Sydney. This role is ideal for someone early to mid-career with 3–10 years of experience who has delivered complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects within the Real Estate sector. Responsibilities

  • Support and lead the delivery of technical building services projects, with a strong emphasis on electrical and controls systems.
  • Manage the design and delivery of MEP projects in live, operational environments.
  • Develop and grow Turner & Townsend’s technical services offering across client portfolios and internal teams.
  • Plan and oversee works with a focus on safety, quality, and performance outcomes.
  • Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client through regular meetings and written communications, including the production of formal project progress and other reports.
  • Establish and manage project governance, reporting, and change control processes.
  • Interface with clients, consultants, and contractors across all project stages.
  • Support procurement activities and tender evaluations.
  • Contribute to internal processes, financial management, and quality assurance.

Requirements

  • 3 –10 years of experience in building/technical services (from PM to SPM).
  • Background in design consultancy or MEP services delivery contracting.
  • Strong technical capability and deep understanding of building systems.
  • Proven experience managing projects in live, operational environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk identification and management/mitigation for construction programs and mission critical systems.
  • Experience in a client-facing role is ideal.
