About the Role
AECOM's acoustics specialists advise clients on environmental and occupational acoustics, transport infrastructure noise, vibration, industrial noise control, and building acoustic design. This role is part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team delivering innovative solutions across a diverse range of projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with site visits to measure and observe acoustic conditions.
- Perform acoustic predictions, calculations, and 3D modelling under guidance.
- Contribute to design recommendations and support research activities.
- Participate in client and design team meetings to share insights and learn from the team.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support the delivery of integrated solutions.
Requirements
- Must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline.
- Able to work full time hours from mid November 2026 – mid February 2027.
- Possess a driver’s licence.
- Must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand.
- Accept candidates with student and graduate visas.

- Attend a face-to-face interview.
- All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding.
