About the Role

As a Cost Management Intern, you’ll gain exposure to both pre- and post-contract activities, supporting key commercial functions on a range of dynamic projects within AECOM’s cost management services.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with cost modelling and cost planning to support project budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Support procurement activities, including managing tender processes and documentation.
  • Contribute to financial and due diligence reporting to inform project decision-making.
  • Help review and manage change control procedures to ensure commercial accuracy throughout project delivery.

  • A commitment to professionalism and integrity.
  • Must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or any related discipline.
  • Able to work full time hours from mid November 2026 – mid February 2027.
  • Must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Accepts candidates with student and graduate visas.
