About the Role

As an Intern within our Transmission & Distribution team, you will support primary and secondary substation design across Australia and New Zealand, gaining exposure to T&D electrical engineering. You will work alongside a supportive, experienced team and high-calibre clients, assisting with substation electrical design tasks and studies such as grounding, lightning protection, and introductory power systems analysis.

Responsibilities

Assist with substation primary/secondary design inputs and draft report/specification sections under guidance.
Join supervised site visits and basic testing, then capture and organize field data for design use.
Provide construction support during the build phase while collaborating across multiple disciplines to deliver projects.
Support project delivery by preparing budget estimates and ensuring outputs meet time, quality, and cost objectives.

Must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
Able to work full time hours from 16 November 2026 – 19 February 2027.
