About the Role

Support the design and delivery of structural engineering projects across various sectors, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to uphold AECOM’s reputation for technical excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with structural design and project delivery, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and Building Codes of Australia (BCA).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable structural solutions.
  • Conduct structural analysis and support the preparation of design reports and engineering documentation.
  • Assist with project management by tracking timelines, budgets, and resources, and engaging with clients and stakeholders.
  • Learn and apply best practices to enhance technical skills and contribute to project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Able to work full-time hours from mid-November 2026 to mid-February 2027.
  • Must hold Australian citizenship and be eligible to obtain the required Defence Security Clearance.

  • Attend a face-to-face interview.
  • All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding.
