About the Role
AECOM's Environment Business is expanding to support a strong pipeline of projects, including wind farms, transmission infrastructure, Defence Estate, resource projects, major rail and road upgrades, and mining rehabilitation. We assist clients with environmental impact assessments, planning approvals, ecology assessments, and sustainability and resilience solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support major infrastructure projects, including transportation and renewable energy initiatives.
- Apply scientific or environmental knowledge to solve problems and provide technical input.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including scientists, engineers, and contractors.
- Develop skills in a dynamic consulting environment through project-based learning and communication.
Requirements

- Must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science / Engineering, Environmental Planning, or any related discipline.
- Able to work full time hours from mid November 2026 – mid February 2027.
- Must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand.
