About the Role

AECOM is seeking motivated individuals to join their Ground Engineering and Tunnelling team, providing services from site investigations to construction supervision. This role supports both internal and external clients on diverse projects within the transportation, energy, water, and building sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Support fieldwork, including site visits and inspections, alongside office-based tasks such as reporting and design input, under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, clients, and contractors to deliver integrated project solutions.
  • Assist with geotechnical analyses for foundations, slope stability, pavement design, earthworks, and other structures by compiling data, performing basic calculations, and preparing deliverables under supervision.
  • Participate in short-term travel opportunities as project needs and interests align.

Requirements

  • Must be in the penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical electives.
  • Must be able to work full-time hours from mid-November 2026 to mid-February 2027.
  • Must have full working rights to work in Australia before applying.
