About the Role

Nova Scotia Health is seeking a full scope family physician to join their family practice network team in Sydney, Nova Scotia. This role involves delivering comprehensive primary health care services and collaborating with other providers in a thriving healthcare ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness
• Work with other providers in the clinic to provide cross coverage and same day access
• Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities
• Utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR which is accessible to all collaborating team members

Requirements

• All applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
• All applicants must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
• Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)

• 375,000 to 400,000 CAD per year
