- Influence architectural decisions and establish engineering standards that improve scalability, maintainability, performance, reliability, and developer productivity.
- Partner with Architects and senior technical leaders to evolve platform and system architectures that support future business and product growth.
- Act as a technical authority for critical decisions, balancing customer needs, developer experience, performance, security, and operational excellence.
- Define and evolve platform services, APIs, data models, and developer experiences that enable product teams to build and scale consistently across Autodesk.
- Drive the architecture and adoption of intelligent platform capabilities supporting AI-assisted workflows, autonomous agents, and cross-product automation.
- Collaborate with AI, Data, and Platform teams to establish scalable foundations for agentic systems, orchestration frameworks, knowledge services, and model-powered experiences.
- Drive adoption of shared platform capabilities, frameworks, SDKs, and reusable engineering patterns across teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends in cloud computing, distributed systems, AI, and agentic architectures, translating opportunities into strategic platform investments.
- Contribute to the evolution of cloud-native architectures, platform ecosystems, and developer platforms that serve Autodesk products at global scale.
- Design and develop new capabilities while continuously improving existing products, services, and platform components.
- Identify, prioritize, and solve highly complex technical problems across multiple systems, teams, and domains.
- Break down ambiguous initiatives into executable plans, estimates, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Lead cross-team technical initiatives and coordinate dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
- Ensure software quality through code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD practices, and engineering best practices.
- Lead root-cause investigations of critical production incidents and implement durable long-term solutions.
