Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Create new processes, tools, data visualization, and systems for planning and operations.
  • Manage demand forecasting, inventory control, and service contract planning for service parts.
  • Collaborate with senior managers, technical experts, and departments like FSO, sales, and logistics.
  • Manage funded projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Provide technical assistance to member governments.
  • Monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Represent the region in the global process and manage exceptions.
  • Utilize system tools to provide sustainable solutions and translate business requirements into actionable plans.
  • Conduct studies on planning and public administration subjects.
  • Lead and mentor a team of planners, fostering continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Semiconductor experience strongly preferred.
  • BA/BS college degree required or equivalent.
  • At least three (3) years of inventory, supply planning, material planning, or demand planning experience.
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Fluent in Japanese.
  • Has good business acumen to understand the business environment for Applied Materials and our customers.
  • Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
  • Requires a combination of analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership abilities.
  • Able to undertake analysis of data sets, using strong Tableau expertise or other visualization tool.
  • Has knowledge of service parts planning concepts and techniques.
  • Has knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Project management skill.
