About the Role
As a highly skilled make-up artist, you will combine creative and technical expertise with a passion for people to provide a welcoming, inspirational, and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers. You will work as part of a high-performing team to create impact with in-store events and ensure high standards of visual merchandising.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service.
- Provide tailored makeup solutions through strong consultation skills.
- Educate customers on application techniques and product knowledge.
- Maintain hygiene standards at all times.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Participate in retail events and theme days.
- Maintain professional grooming standards.
- Wear diverse makeup looks that align with brand aesthetic.
- Attend mandatory paid training sessions.
- Maintain self-development through online training modules.
- Complete all daily tasks including cleaning, unpacking stock, and replenishing.
- Maintain counter VM and track sales results.
- Recruit new customers and sign them up to the CRM database.
- Demonstrate an enthusiastic, co-operative team player approach.
Requirements
- Strong makeup skills (self-taught or accredited).
- Portfolio or examples of makeup work required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Open to feedback and committed to professional growth.
- Flexible availability including late nights and weekends.
- Impeccably groomed.
- Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced work environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Must be able to provide proof of right to live and work in the country.
