About the Role

Boston Scientific is seeking an experienced Senior People Partner to join their Regional People Services team. This role supports employees and leaders across Australia and New Zealand, contributing to broader People Services initiatives in the Asia Pacific region. The position focuses on delivering exceptional employee experiences across the employee lifecycle, ensuring responsive, compliant, and customer-focused support. This is a 12-month opportunity for an individual who excels in operational excellence, continuous improvement, and collaborative, regional environments.

Responsibilities

  • Coach people leaders on managing performance, conduct, team dynamics, and employee lifecycle concerns.
  • Support the management of employee cases from initial enquiry through to resolution.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Centres of Excellence, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders to deliver effective people solutions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation, ensuring compliance with policies, legislation, and audit requirements.
  • Support the implementation of regional and global HR initiatives, programs, and process improvements across ANZ and the wider APAC region.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen knowledge resources, and enhance manager capability using insights from employee cases and trends.
  • Support the coordination and administration of workers' compensation matters, facilitating case management and promoting employee wellbeing and safety.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in HR Operations, People Services, or Human Resources, ideally within a regional or multinational organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, with exposure to New Zealand employment practices considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a broad range of employee lifecycle activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility across all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with experience identifying opportunities to enhance processes and employee experience.
  • Confidence working across HR systems and technology, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-first approach.
