About the Role
As the largest pure-play fiber provider in the U.S., we are dedicated to Building Gigabit America. This role involves transitioning into Verizon's compensation and benefits programs following the acquisition of Frontier. You will lead technical sales engagements, design customer solutions, and drive revenue by leveraging our fiber broadband infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Follow company sales methodology and processes.
- Participate in customer-facing engagements.
- Lead or assist in assigned sales opportunities.
- Develop and deliver professional presentations to all organizational levels.
- Drive incremental revenue by building technical and business relationships.
- Coordinate internal resources across Sales, Support, Operations, and Legal.
- Maintain knowledge of competitor offerings and value differentiators.
- Prepare and present technical handoffs to implementation and support teams.
- Identify customer business issues and design technical solutions using a consultative approach.
- Develop and maintain positive internal and external working relationships.
- Provide technical explanations verbally or via whiteboard.
- Maintain knowledge of products and services and complete required certifications.
- Adhere to company methods, procedures, and expense control policies.
- Mentor other team members.
- Complete assigned training, quarterly objectives, and reports.
- Document activities in the CRM system.
- Meet all project and customer deliverables deadlines.
- Travel as required, averaging 50% or more.
Requirements
- Two to three years of customer-facing experience in the technology industry.
- Background in commercial telecommunications, specifically SD-WAN and Cloud services.
- Proven track record of establishing strategic relationships with key customers.
- Ability to analyze business processes and end-to-end business models.
- Experience leading medium to large deals.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years supporting complex customer requirements and solutions development.
- Minimum of two years of technical services or pre-sales support experience.
- Minimum of two years of telecom, managed hosting, or networking experience.
- Solid project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple complex projects.
- Effective listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven presentation expertise, ideally at the CxO level.
- Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
