About the Role

Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I Regional Datacenter Program Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's dedicated online services.

Responsibilities

• Model, coach, and care for your team.
• Analyze and interpret project data to provide recommendations for datacenter operations.
• Interpret customer requirements and drive parity with standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate across internal groups, external suppliers, and customers.
• Document and improve processes for planning, implementation, operations, confidentiality, security, and compliance.
• Participate in technical communities to stay informed of best practices and share them.
• Empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all datacenter activities.
• Establish and enhance working relationships with customers.
• Create and manage end-to-end project plans to ensure on-time delivery.
• Plan, manage, and communicate project plans with stakeholders and teams.
• Perform day-to-day project check-ins and update accordingly.
• Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities and communicate them to stakeholders for resolution.
• Gather and provide feedback on lessons learned, best practices, and innovations.
• Work with various Engineering, Operations, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, DC Build Managers, and Regional Technical Infrastructure Managers.
• Learn, live, and coach the One Microsoft culture and values.
• Lead through change by bringing clarity, generating energy, and delivering success.

Requirements

• High School Qualification or equivalent AND 6+ years experience supporting IT equipment or related technology or delivering server and network deployment projects in large-scale environments OR equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
• Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Skills

• Critical environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU)
• Physical IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling)
• Developing and implementing programs in datacenter operations
• Developing and presenting executive-level presentations and reports

Salary/Compensations

• USD $127,600 - $229,200 per year (U.S.)
• USD $168,900 - $253,300 per year (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area)
