About the Role
Contribute to maintaining competitive advantage by maximizing the benefits of products and portfolios to as many patients as possible through excellent product strategy planning and execution, thereby reinvesting in science for patients.
Responsibilities
- Plan, structure, analyze, and solve business challenges by understanding market environments, customers, products, and portfolios, and formulate product strategies and mid-to-long-term plans.
- Plan and execute market research, and conduct analysis of external/internal factors and customer insights based on research findings.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate promotional activities based on strategy, including planning, execution, and evaluation of materials, events, and digital initiatives.
- Propose systems for measuring marketing and sales activities and collaborate with other departments to build internal systems.
- Manage Key External Experts (KEEs).
- Collaborate and coordinate with relevant internal (including global teams) and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales or marketing experience in the medical/pharmaceutical industry.
- Consideration for individuals with less than 3 years of experience but with potential.
- Ability to extract insights by correctly interpreting market research results and objective facts based on hypotheses, and to build hypotheses based on market conditions and trends.
- Ability to objectively grasp events and accurately analyze and understand the current situation (experience in analysis or research is a plus).
- Proactiveness to execute actions towards problem-solving.
- Questioning and analytical skills to identify issues through meetings with physicians.
- Attitude to continuously challenge oneself without settling in one's comfort zone and to try new initiatives and approaches to achieve goals.
- Attitude to collaborate with related departments to achieve results as a team.
- Proficiency in creating documents using Excel/PowerPoint and utilizing other IT tools used within the company.
- Logical thinking skills.

- Sufficient Japanese communication skills.
- Acquire TOEIC 800 within 2 years after joining the company (English proficiency is not required at the time of application).
