About the Role

Join a collaborative fertility clinic team where patient care, compassion, and attention to detail matter. Our San Francisco, CA office is seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist who enjoys hands-on patient interaction and wants to grow in women’s health and reproductive medicine. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their healthcare career who is looking to build clinical experience in a supportive and highly specialized environment.

Responsibilities

Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
Follow proper protocols for all procedures
Practice phlebotomy
Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds.
Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results.
Enter results and email to provider team for review.
Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.

Requirements

6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel – required
EMR experience - preferred

Work Type

Daytime hours Monday through Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm with rotating weekends and holidays

Education Level

Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred
Phlebotomy Program – CPT-1 required
