About the Role

Join Reddam Early Learning School (ELS) in Woollahra as a Casual Early Childhood Educator, where you'll help shape the foundational years of children aged 1–5 through a rich, inquiry-based curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Our purpose-built centre offers state-of-the-art facilities and a nurturing environment where educators and children thrive together.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Room Leaders to implement an innovative, inquiry-driven curriculum.
  • Observe and document children’s development to support personalised learning.
  • Create safe, engaging indoor and outdoor environments that promote exploration.
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with families and involve them in their child’s learning journey.
  • Work as part of a reflective, inclusive team culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute fresh ideas.

Requirements

  • A nurturing, curious, and collaborative educator who values each child’s unique potential.
  • Creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for early learning.
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be actively working towards it).
  • A valid Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain one).
  • Strong understanding of inquiry-based and child-led learning.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
