About the Role

The Tenant Fit-Out Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of tenant buildouts within data center environments. This role manages scope, schedule, and coordination with end users, contractors, and internal teams to ensure fit-out work aligns with data hall standards, operational requirements, and safety protocols. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for tenant delivery, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and with minimal impact to ongoing data center operations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate design processes, including document reviews and customer RFIs.
Manage architectural, electrical, mechanical, low voltage, and security infrastructure design compliance.
Develop and manage project milestone schedules, including baseline schedule review and weekly updates.
Coordinate and manage selected contractors through the design phase for various infrastructure elements.
Manage overhead design coordination for structural supports, basket tray, fiber duct, hot aisle containment, electrical busway, and piping.
Oversee submittal issuance and approval processes on the Procore platform.
Manage contractor RFIs, process requests, and provide responses.
Establish and oversee RFIs on the Procore platform, conducting weekly submittals/RFI review meetings.
Ensure coordination for the procurement of Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment.
Manage weekly OAC meetings, contractor design coordination meetings, and submittal review meetings.
Manage security access requests.
Ensure health and safety processes throughout projects, including weekly 3 Weeks lookahead issuance and bi-weekly safety observation reports on Procore.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
5+ years of project management experience.
3+ years of data center construction experience.
General Contracting, Construction Management, or Architecture Experience preferred.
Extensive familiarity and working knowledge of construction scheduling, project budgeting and cost controls.
Working technical knowledge of MEP systems and data center operations.
Ability to read, write and understand English for job-related communications.
