About the Role

This is a unique 6-month rotation opportunity within Flexport Capital, a fast-growing product area. You will gain hands-on experience in a client-facing, commercially driven role, managing a portfolio of clients, identifying growth opportunities, and driving revenue while mitigating risk.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of 40 NAM Capital clients.
  • Connect with C-Suite executives of Flexport Capital clients.
  • Serve as the internal Flexport advocate for customers.
  • Drive revenue growth for current Capital products.
  • Identify at-risk accounts.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews.
  • Maximize revenue per customer by identifying opportunities for credit line increases, utilization improvement, and cross-selling.
  • Use Flexport's supply chain data as a commercial advantage to identify customer capital needs.
  • Serve as the frontline commercial intelligence for the credit and risk team.
  • Review financial health, repayment behavior, shipment data, and market conditions.
  • Flag early warning signals and partner with credit to drive appropriate actions.
  • Build trusted, senior-level relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, and CEOs.
  • Position Flexport Capital as a strategic working capital partner.
  • Collaborate with Demand and Farmer AEs teams to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop bundled freight-capital propositions.
  • Align on account strategy with cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to the team's growth playbook by surfacing client insights.
  • Inform product, pricing, and go-to-market decisions.

Requirements

  • Customer-facing experience with end-to-end commercial relationship ownership.
  • Demonstrated commercial drive and motivation by growth targets.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to build rapport, navigate objections, and present confidently.
  • Proactivity, ownership, and adaptability in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Willingness to expand skill set into new domains.
