About the Role
RS&H is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) programs in Texas. This role involves developing, reviewing, and analyzing Primavera P6 CPM schedules, providing schedule analysis to support project delivery, and leading schedule reviews. You will also perform detailed analyses of monthly schedule updates and prepare reports identifying risks, delays, and mitigation strategies. The role requires verifying construction progress, reconciling updates with field conditions, and supporting advanced analyses like Time Impact Analyses.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and analyze Primavera P6 Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules.
- Provide prospective and forensic schedule analysis.
- Lead reviews of baseline schedules, validating logic, durations, calendars, and critical path activities.
- Perform detailed analyses of monthly schedule updates.
- Prepare comprehensive schedule review and status reports identifying schedule risks, delays, conflicts, and recommended mitigation strategies.
- Verify construction progress and reconcile schedule updates against actual field conditions and Daily Work Reports.
- Ensure schedule accuracy.
- Support advanced scheduling analyses, including Time Impact Analyses (TIA), evaluation of revised construction sequencing, weather-related impacts, and coordination with adjacent projects.
- Deliver actionable insights to project teams and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–10 years of experience in CPM scheduling for construction projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Strong understanding of CPM principles, construction sequencing, logic development, and schedule analysis.
- Ability to interpret and analyze contractor schedules and identify risk drivers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary project teams.
