Responsibilities
- Assist the Driver in every aspect of product delivery to customer stores efficiently and safely, following all company procedures.
- Unload products at customer locations and place them in appropriate storage areas.
- Utilize double-count techniques to ensure accurate product delivery.
- Employ safe unloading techniques to protect self, others, and product.
- Apply customer service best practices for consistent quality service.
- Properly use accessory equipment such as ramps, load-locks, and straps for safety and minimal maintenance.
- Assist the driver in spotting danger when reversing trucks or trailers.
- Store equipment and supplies to maintain truck organization.
- Perform truck checklists to ensure all safety equipment and supplies are available.
- Support warehouse functions as needed.
- Clean the inside of the truck.
- In case of an accident or emergency, set road flares or warning triangles.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Must have weekend availability throughout the year.
- Flexibility to work additional hours, including holidays, may be required.
- Must be able to perform a checklist of trucks to ensure all safety equipment and supplies are available.
- Must be able to clean the inside of the truck.
- Must be able to set road flares or warning triangles in case of an accident or other emergency.
