About the Role

We are seeking a detail-driven Accountant with a passion for Accounts Payable and a background in freight forwarding or logistics to take ownership of AP processes and contribute to the financial health of a dynamic company.

Responsibilities

• Own the AP process from end-to-end, including invoice verification, payment processing, vendor management, and reconciliation.
• Serve as the go-to accounting expert supporting cross-functional teams.
• Lead AP operations, including verifying invoices, coding, ensuring approvals, and reconciling vendor statements.
• Manage daily cash tracking and prepare payment templates.
• Perform bank and General Ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare cash projections and support month-end closing activities.
• Assist with external and internal audits.
• Track and report on daily sales transactions for accuracy.
• Collaborate with the broader team for accurate reporting and clean financials.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Expertise in Accounts Payable and general accounting principles.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
• Experience with inventory or cost accounting is a plus.
