About the Role

Kanji & Co is seeking a Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join our in-house legal team in Sydney CBD. This role offers the chance to work on complex commercial disputes, litigation, and regulatory investigations, providing direct access to clients, business leaders, and senior lawyers. You will support diverse companies across various industries, enjoying the variety of private practice with in-house benefits.

Responsibilities

Assist with commercial disputes, litigation, and regulatory investigations
Manage matters independently with support from experienced lawyers
Work directly with business managers and directors to understand issues and provide advice
Draft court documents, affidavits, witness statements, motions, applications, and settlement documents
Provide advice on contractual obligations, WHS compliance and responses to other legal processes such as, subpoenas, and notices to produce
Liaise with Counsel, experts, and other law firms
Conduct legal research and develop commercially focused solutions

Requirements

1–3 years’ post-admission experience in commercial litigation or dispute resolution
Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills
Knowledge of litigation processes and court procedure
Confidence working directly with clients and stakeholders
Ability to manage competing priorities and take ownership of matters
Strong attention to detail and commercial judgement
